Yulia Mitchell

Master of Counselling, MTIA Level 1 teacher.

Yulia is a registered mental health counsellor and wellbeing specialist with additional extensive training in Mindfulness-Based programs. She is also trained in person centred approach, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In her work she also uses Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and various grounding and relaxation techniques, including Mindfulness meditations.

Yulia has experience with a wide range of complexity in clients’ presentations and ages and has special expertise in stress reduction and anxiety management. She has a significant experience in working with women and has a special interest in challenges with parenting, emotional eating and body image issues.

Being a mindfulness practitioner for many years, she is passionate about helping people developing deeper awareness and insight into their lives, reconnecting to their bodies, hearts and minds in healthy ways and providing the tools for balanced and meaningful living.
